own theme with transparency

Hi !
I'd like to create my own color theme and wonder if tkabber supports transparency in its windows. When I changed from color code to transparent tkabber refused to start. Did anyone manage it yet ?

Tkabber uses Tcl/Tk, so this feature depends on the graphic widget, Tk. I'm not sure about it, but probably it does not support transparency ('A Tk color code does not include transparency/opacity information.' link). Perhaps on a future version of Tk, or using a trick.
