Hello,

Do you know if there is a way to disable server notifications within conference rooms, like:

JUID has left.
JUID has arrived.

I was told this could only be configured on the server, however I would like to disable this feature on the client if possible.

You can change it on the Customize window -> 'Chat' section.

I tried un-checking this option and the events are still displayed in the conference room :-(

Any other ideas?

Disabling the option works only in MUC rooms, where Tkabber generates the messages by itself (when it receives an initial presence). In older conference rooms service informs about new users by sending messages (Tkabber just present them to you).
